The Shire Canada ADHD Scholarship Program was developed to support Canadian adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who are pursuing a higher education.
Scholarship recipients are selected by an external panel of Canadian ADHD experts based on their evaluation of the written essays – a personal essay (500 words) and an ADHD coaching essay (100 words) – that candidates submit as part on their application.
Each scholarship that is awarded consists of financial support ($1,500 CA) and one year of ADHD coaching provided by accredited coaches from the Edge Foundation to assist Shire Canada ADHD scholarship recipients meet the challenges of post-secondary education.
After four years and four successful editions, the Shire Canada ADHD Scholarship Program is taking a pause in 2017. Please visit this page again at the beginning of 2018 to get the latest update about the Program. We thank you for your interest!
